I consider you all as my friends -- so don’t make me have to remove you from my will. I have prepared this brief yet vital email for you. For years, people have asked me what will happen to my ministry when I die. So many, in fact, I began to wonder if they knew something I didn’t. That brings me to my point. Our home base for the future is covered, but I have long needed someone to take over the ministry in Honduras for me, so that when I am there, I can focus on the work of a missionary rather than an administrator. After more than a decade of prayer, God has sent me two reliable helpers from the same church. They were assistant pastors who visited us every summer for the past seven years. The first time Rayan Silie (silly-ā) came, he was still unsaved, yet he believed God wanted him to be a missionary. That is very rare. When he went home, he found Christ. Now he wants to serve as my Timothy so he can eventually take the reins in Honduras. I am asking you to help me by doing something you may have never done before. (This is where the friendship part comes in.) Is there any way you can support him without having to wait for him to visit your church? He can visit you later, or even better, you can visit him on a Visionary Trip! I pray that your trust in me and the attached short video will satisfy your need to meet him in person before supporting him. As important as that is, it will cost precious time, and I need to quicken his ministry, not delay it. (That’s where the trust part comes in.) Although I haven't mentioned it, we are on the verge of launching a television ministry, and I can't do it without him. He already started four expanding youth ministries for us this summer in three months, and those teenagers need him back. They hang on every word he says. They even turn their phones off! We are training them as an army of evangelists and disciplers through our internet Bible Institute, which Rayan will direct. So, you see, I don’t need Rayan in a year after his deputation is completed; I need him now, and so, I need your help. Rayan, Michelle, and their four children are not asking for the typical $8,000 monthly support that missionaries usually require. They are asking for only $2,500. (But wait! It gets better.) One of our staff members has committed to giving him $1,200 monthly beginning in December, and of course, Nolin and I will be helping them as well. That reduces his support need to only $1,000 to $1,200 per month at the most. Final Frontiers will take care of their lodging, utilities, water, beds, dressers, and food, and he will buy his own vehicle from the sale of his truck up here. Michelle loves Honduras and cried when their three-month visit came to an end. That is highly unusual and evidence of God’s calling. Rayan is the best Timothy candidate I have ever had. I have chosen him to replicate our principles and ministry beginning in Honduras. He proved worthy while traveling with me in Pakistan, and then for three months in Honduras. Like Paul without Timothy, I am handicapped greatly without him. Please, if you trust me, could you do this for me as soon as possible, and let me know if you can support him? If you cannot afford monthly support, could you provide a special offering to help them relocate? (about $4,900).
