The Great Commission Fund is a program whereby participants collectively fund entire teams of trained and experienced church planters winning souls, discipling converts, and starting new house churches, primarily in regions where Christ is both unnamed and unknown. Your combined offerings, of any amount, will provide stipends, travel funds, the purchase of Bibles, and the equipment helping these men to do better, what they are already doing. By working in teams, as our Lord and the Apostle Paul taught us, they abound in energy and effort but lack the provision of food and supplies. Your participation in the Great Commission Fund makes you a vital part of our global church planting teams.
To be accountable to you for your donations, we will provide you with updates and pertinent articles in our quarterly Progress Report. Thus, you will receive multiple reports annually, as well as frequent emails sharing the successes and obstacles our church planters experience. How is the Great Commission Fund different from choosing and supporting a specific preacher? While the support of a church planter is $50 monthly, with quarterly reports from him to you, the support of our teams of church planters can be any amount you choose and given at any frequency you prefer. And as mentioned above, you will receive at least eight to twelve reports annually, each with multiple photos and information that describes things mentioned that might be unfamiliar to the American reader. In addition, we will give you the behind-the-scenes stories, maps of the locations mentioned, and historical and cultural information highlighting the stories. These reports are a great teaching tool for yourself and your family. Your participation is an excellent way for you to support not one but many experienced church planters as they train their Timothies with hands-on experience. |
