2. Vision Treatment for Our Director – Nigeria
Our regional director has continued to go for tests and treatments for his eyes. Here is the update from him;
I went to St Joseph's Eye Hospital which is my main clinic. The Low Vision Optomologist (They do visit there every two weeks) did a thorough assessments of my Eyes. He came with a conclusion that my Sugar Level is 130, which he said is high. He declined giving me the Eye Glasses insisting that it has to come down to 100. He maintained that since I have only one eye that could see yet it suffers from Myopia and Glaucoma he has to take extreme caution! He told me to be back in 2 weeks time to see whether the Sugar Level has gone down to 100.
This has been too difficult for me because I have used all three types of diabetic drugs already prescribed for me, yet the daily reading has fluctuated between 119 to 130 Sugar Level, Fasting. I am planning to go and see a Diabetic Consultant and show him my Daily Chat to see his suggestions
Although I have I have been going for Eye Check every Two Weeks for more than Three Months at St. Joseph Eye Hospital because of my Right Eye which they said is suffering from Conjective Infection. (Remember that this eye doesn't see anymore) It's clearing up to 95% but they always give me new eye drugs. Praise God that He provided such financial supports through Final Frontiers Foundation Inc
We will keep you updated on Brother Lucas and pray that these medical issues will be resolved.
