Urgent - Help Us Deliver Bibles to Those Hungry for the Truth

I cannot think of worse news or a worse time to share it with you, but I must. You know our extensive ministry of smuggling Bibles throughout the Middle East, North Africa, the Levant, and Central Asia, historically called Persia. The results have been so phenomenal that I cannot share the details with you. I can reveal that hundreds of thousands of souls have come to Christ, and according to our preachers on the ground, each Bible they distribute, on average, results in the conversion of nine adults because it is shared with friends and extended family members. We typically secure financial pledges from families and churches who pledge to give a certain amount; then, we begin the printing process (literally in the Middle East). From that site, the Bibles are smuggled across more than nine countries in every direction, and then the Power of God’s Word begins to penetrate their hearts and bring them to Christ. From then on, they are united with a local assembly of Believers and grow in their faith, spreading it to their extended families. It is all marvelous to observe. So, once again, having received the pledges, we printed the Bibles, and they are now ready for distribution. So what’s the problem? Unfortunately, several of the funding commitments have faltered, and we are short approximately $11,430. The printer needs to be paid – in full because he has supplies and paper to pay for, and there is a monthly interest charge of 20%. This will amount to nearly $1500 a month being wasted. And since we produce these Bibles for $6 each, that would be like throwing away 250 Bibles a month. We cannot do that! His debt will be our responsibility. Why is this so important? It is dangerous for us to store the Bibles for more than a few days at a time. If discovered, it would mean their confiscation and burning as well as torture and death for the property owners. It would likely also lead to the discovery of our press, which would end our smuggling ministry. I know this is a bad time of the year to ask for help, but we seldom have such urgent needs as we did in past years. This is uncommon for us now, but it is nonetheless genuine. So, I am asking you to please find a little you can squeeze out of your overwhelming seasonal expenses and help us get these Bibles paid for. Then, we can stay on our planned schedule and get them all distributed. Only about a year or two ago, we made first contact with these people, and there are hundreds of thousands of them. As many Muslims, perpetually separated from the Truth, once they heard it, they soaked it up like dry sponges and began to convert en masse. Even without Bibles, with virtually no knowledge of Christ other than for their salvation, they have publically refused to attend the mosques. We began this printing a few months ago, spurred by a question to one of our smugglers who had distributed the first Bibles. This man, receiving his copy of a Bible, asked, “If you have had this book for so long, why are you only now bringing it to us?” Truthfully, you cannot take Bibles to them, but with your help we can, even at the cost of our lives. Statistically, each $6 Bible we smuggle results in the conversion of NINE adults. Please help us complete this current shipment.
