An end of the year update: MIDDLE EAST
Reading time one minutes.
About a month ago, I asked for help providing Bibles and food baskets to our families in a closed and highly persecuted country in Central Asia. (I hope you know the country I am speaking of. I don’t want to say the name and rub salt in the wounds of our enemies there who would reprise against our families.) On Saturday, I received a call stating that half of the approximately 7,000 baskets had already been dispersed. Families are eating and sharing food with others. The Name of Christ is being glorified continually. I was told that during that week, an average of TWELVE adults, EVERY DAY, were turning from Islam and professing salvation in Jesus. Hallelujah! Thank you so much for helping our brothers and sisters and praying for their safety. They are taking the benefit of the food you gave and the Bibles you paid to print and smuggle and are bringing souls to Christ. As in the early church, our Family is known for their love, not only for each other but also for the unsaved. Regarding the situation in Syria. I have received only sparse and cryptic words, but I expect to hear more by mid-week. Once I do, I will provide you with more data. As of now, of the $145,000 needed, $90,143 has been given or pledged. We still need help. May the coming year make you more prosperous and able to share with those in need. Please designate your gift for Middle East Turmoil. |
